What is FIRST?

Each year, the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) hosts their premier expo, FIRST, celebrating the innovation and science behind food and flavors. This annual event gathers industry leaders and culinary innovators in food production to exchange ideas, expertise, and discuss the latest in public safety standards and updates. This year’s expo will take place from July 14th - 17th at the McCormick Place Convention Center, in Chicago, IL.
